The Impact of Full Consecration

August 19, 2022

Have you ever considered what God may do through one life?

Such a question may never have crossed your mind to ponder. After all, believers in Christ are baptized into Christ, joining His Body. We become part of a global community of believers working together to see God glorified throughout the earth. But think about the impact an individual can have on a group. A prominent evangelist from the late 1800’s, D.L. Moody, is known for saying, “The world has yet to see what God can do with a man fully consecrated to Him. By God’s help, I aim to be that man.” He went on to see thousands upon thousands surrender their lives to Christ.

We can look at Moody and assume that he must have had some extraordinary grace on his life that allowed him to do such incredible things for God. But, the fact of the matter is that he was just an average man who wholly bought into whatever God desired to do in and through his life. People like Moody exist all around us, we just may not perceive them. They seem just like everyone else, but their desire is for Jesus to get maximal glory out of their lives.

Such can be said of an Act Training Center Director, H. Since he began his role as the director at the Training Center, he has graduated approximately 150 men and women. These are men and women equipped to share and minister the gospel. Men and women who are trained to make disciples who make disciples. Just since the start of 2022, six of his graduates have baptized over 60 new believers! More have planted churches in the hardest to reach places and have been faithfully leading people to follow after Jesus.

Oh, and how beautiful it is to know that you who participate with him through your sacrificial giving, are also men and women responsible for gospel advancement as the Spirit does His miraculous work of saving the lost. Yes, while H is one man given over to the Lord, you act as the arm that stretches him forth as the hand of God.
